Dr Shahani Ikram
BMedSci (Hons), MBBS, FRACGP
Dr Ikram obtained her qualifications from the University of Queensland in 2012. She is currently studying her Masters in Public Health at James Cook University and has previously obtained a Child Health Diploma from University of Sydney. Dr Ikram gained her Fellowship with the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners in 2023.
Dr Ikram has enjoyed working at a number of hospitals throughout Queensland, including Bundaberg Base Hospital and Rockhampton Base Hospital, as well as The Prince Charles Hospital, prior to transitioning to general practice in 2021.
Dr Shahani speaks fluent Sinhala and Tamil, in addition to English.
