General Check-Ups
Annual health check-ups are a great way to take stock of your health and identify factors which may be putting you at a higher risk.
Supporting You at All Stages of Life
There is no standard health check up for any one person, as family history, pre-existing illnesses and medication can change the review intervals. Various health checks are available based on your medical condition, age, and ethnicity. Please discuss with your doctor what is recommended.
Basics such as blood pressure, body mass index (BMI – height and weight) and waist size are important basic measurements that should be recorded for everyone on a regular basis. Depending on your medical history, family history, and any pre-existing conditions, the doctor may request a few additional tests.
We aim to improve health and quality of life by providing a structured way of identifying health issues and conditions that are potentially amenable or even preventable. Talk to your doctor about a check-up relevant to your current stage in life.
Various health assessments and management plans are available based on your eligibility and needs. Please speak with your doctor to find out if you are eligible. The Australian Government funds the annual recommended health assessment for the age group of 75 years and over.
